Common Errors and How to Fix Them

If something fails during sign in, registration, or admin login, use this page to recover quickly.

Always Check First

EMAIL_ALREADY_REGISTERED / USERNAME_EXISTS

This account already exists.

What to do: Go to Sign In or use a different email/username.

INVALID_EMAIL / INVALID_REQUEST

Some required information is missing or malformed.

What to do: Check email format, fill all fields, and submit again.

MAIL_FAILED / OTP_STORE_FAILED / OTP_VERIFY_FAILED

The platform could not send or verify your code due to service/backend issues.

What to do: Wait a minute, request a new code, and retry. If it persists, contact support.

OTP_NOT_FOUND / OTP_INVALID / OTP_INVALID_FORMAT

The verification code is missing, incorrect, or not numeric.

What to do: Request a new code, enter digits only, and use the latest email code.

LOCAL_SERVER_OFFLINE

The web page cannot reach the local MAIA Desktop service.

What to do: Start MAIA Desktop, ensure it is running, then retry. If not installed, download it from here.

CLOUD_SERVER_OFFLINE / NETWORK

The browser cannot reach the MAIA cloud service.

What to do: Check internet, VPN/firewall rules, then retry.

ADMIN_NOT_FOUND / SESSION_EXPIRED / INVALID_OTP / TOO_MANY_ATTEMPTS

Admin login failed due to account state, expired code, wrong code, or retry limits.

What to do: Request a new code, confirm you use the same email, and retry after cooldown if rate limited.

DB_ERROR / UNKNOWN / SERVER_ERROR

Unexpected backend error.

What to do: Retry once, then contact support with timestamp and action performed.
